KNM 2000 – Average velocity meter for the police

LCD display with separate areas for the measurement results of both
sticks (time, distance and average speed), as well as a separate
battery-secured clock display.

  • LEDs used to indicate the status of the detector switches
  • LED used to indicate the sector measurement status
  • Keyboard for browsing data
  • Mounting with an adapter enabling the adjustment of viewing angle
  • KNM2000 measures the speed using the vehicle’s speedometer
  • Separate detectors unnecessary.
  • Measurement activities
    1: Instantaneous driving speed
2: Average velocity measurement (normal measurement)
Overlapping measurements of time and distance
3: Sector measurement (average speed over standard distance)
Drive the distance in question or enter it using the keyboard.
Measure different durations of the trip.

Lower limits can be set for measurements.
If the measurement time or distance is too short, it flashes on screen
    along with the average speed.

The following information for the last 19 measurements is stored in
    memory for browsing:

  • Time, distance and average speed
  • Time and date
  • Number of measurement stick

    Accuracy of measurement
    Time: Min 0.01% / 0.05 seconds
  • Distance: Accuracy corresponds to the number of pulses given by the vehicle’s speedometer, typically at least 0.25% / 2 metres.
    Calibration of distance:
By driving a previously measured distance.
The setting of known calibration value allowed.
